<p>When someone says they are born obese, what they are implying is that the metabolic rate in their body is too slow. In a nutshell, what they need is anything to speed up that metabolism. Sooner than later, the weight will peel off of them like skin from a banana. I dont really agree that anyone is born obese. We grow obese by what we eat, do and refuse to eat or do.</p>
<p>To shed weight, one thing works better than all other options. Sure you could diet or undergo weight loss surgery, but what really solves the problem is exercise. And when I say exercise &#8212; I mean lots of it and commitment to it. By this means you are able to accelerate the metabolic rate within your system and get the body you desire.</p>
<p>I dont know about you, but usually my system is slow to digest and pass out food. However on days when I exercise, I find that I am uncomfortable for much less time. I can&#8217;t tell you how many times a week a close friend, colleague or family member tells me they would like to lose some weight, and I know I&#8217;m not the only person that hears this either. Each and every single day millions of people in the USA say to themselves those same words, but even though they might want to lose weight or might even need to lose weight, most people don&#8217;t do anything about it, and really just let the problem worsen. If you have ever wondered to yourself if you really needed to lose weight or not, I have listed a few signs below. Firstly, let me just say, there is a big difference between being over weight and being obese. Usually obesity refers to a person that&#8217;s BMI is over 30 when using the following formula:</p>
<p>Divide your weight in pounds by your height in inches squared</p>
<p>Multiple the result by 703</p>
<p>The BMI for people at a healthy weight usually falls between 18.5 and 24.9</p>
<p>A BMI between 25 and 29.9 is considered over weight (which is not the same as obese)</p>

<p>3- If you find simple tasks like walking around, walking up steps or other activities harder, you might need to start thinking about losing weight, of course not being able to breathe isn&#8217;t just related to being over weight but there is a really good chance it is! Often, when people lose weight they find it much easier to do the sports and activities they need to do anyway like take their kids to the zoo.</p>

If you&#8217;re looking to not only lose weight but improve your appearance and your health you may be looking for some good weight loss tips. Well, good news for you! There are several tips available that you can use for just that! Now, the number one thing when trying to lose weight is to start eating healthier, but I&#8217;m personally a big advocate on the whole eat healthier and exercise deal. I don&#8217;t think a person can just exercise 5 days a week and expect to lose weight if all they are eating is cheeseburgers, just in the same way that I don&#8217;t think someone could be a vegetarian and sit on the couch all day every day. It goes hand in hand so just keep this in mind. Eating healthy doesn&#8217;t mean you have to eat sprouts all day long, or that you have to become a vegetarian. It simply means that you should choose to eat foods that are higher in nutritional values.</p>
<p>Another good tip to follow when trying to lose weight is to eat more often. I know this doesn&#8217;t really make sense to a lot of people until they hear why and that&#8217;s completely understandable. Wouldn&#8217;t eating more times a day make you fatter? Nope! In fact, if you&#8217;re eating healthier and exercising, it&#8217;s a good idea to eat at least 6 times a day, this will keep your metabolism going which is a great thing to be doing. You should have breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack, this will constantly keep your metabolism &#8220;running&#8221;. Not a lot of people know this but your metabolism actually runs while you sleep which actually allows you to lose weight while sleeping! Pretty cool. Again, you can&#8217;t expect to eat three cheeseburgers, candy, ice cream and a bunch of junk and expect this to happen because it won&#8217;t.</p>
<p>Regarding exercise, it&#8217;s a good idea to find either a gym to join or some sort of other place where you can either do full on exercise or where you can get tips on exercising. I think eating healthy is scary enough for some people, and then when it comes to exercising as well, they really don&#8217;t know what it is they are supposed to be doing exactly. Obviously if you join a gym they can work out a program for you. On the other hand, if you take a look at some of the sites available online they will not only help you out with exercises but with other things as well such as recipes, guides, and more. Use these to your advantage!</p>
<p>Remember when exercising to switch it up, in a lot of cases people just get plain bored when doing a certain exercise, so be sure to spice it up, do something different every day or every other day. I have a program I do that is the same thing every other day, but I have seen incredible results over the last 90 days so really I think either spicing it up for yourself or seeing results will keep you going!</p>
